CompassPoint's New Home – Coming in January 2013!

Friends and Colleagues,

CompassPoint is excited to announce our upcoming move to Oakland City Center! We will welcome 2013 in our new, 8,000-square-foot office located at 500 12th Street in Downtown Oakland – a vibrant, centrally located neighborhood with easy access to BART, the major freeways, and affordable parking and amenities.

We've wanted to upgrade our space for a while and this beautiful office offers us both accessibility and affordability. We are designing the space to be a hub for capacity building, learning, and networking for our clients and partners across the Bay Area, the state, and the country.

Face-to-face learning and interaction with sector peers is invaluable to nonprofit leaders – whether in our day-long seminars or our year-long intensive leadership programs – and it is the reason we are investing in this facility. The improved workspace for our staff comes with state-of-the-art training rooms for our clients. We'll continue to partner with intermediaries and funders across the state and the country to bring exceptional learning and leadership programs to their communities, while our core workshop offerings will now be held in our new headquarters in Downtown Oakland.

This welcoming space will reflect how we like to work at CompassPoint – with openness, lots of light, and ample opportunity for collaboration and connection with coworkers and clients. We would love to introduce you to our new home in person – please save the date of Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm to join us for our official office-warming and Open House Celebration.
