CREATE A LOGIN
To register online, you must create a login. If you have registered for a CompassPoint event in the past and have submitted your email, we most likely have your information on file. To get started, click on the forgot password link in the myCompassPoint box. Enter your email and click on reset password. If your email is in our system, you will receive a temporary password within 24 hours to use the first time you login.
If you have never registered for a CompassPoint event, please sign-up. Creating a login will give you a number of benefits, including managing your email preferences and printing receipts. Read more about myCompassPoint. PLEASE NOTE: EACH INDIVIDUAL NEEDS THEIR OWN LOGIN. YOU CANNOT REGISTER SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF WHEN YOU ARE LOGGED IN. Each individual needs their own account and password. Please do NOT use the 'Badge Name' field to enter a name other than your own.
HOW TO REGISTER
Once you are logged in, you can add workshops to your cart by clicking on the "Register!" link next to the appropriate fee level. Fee Levels are based on your organization's annual budget. If you are having trouble determining your fee level, read about our sliding-scale discounts. When you are ready to check-out, proceed through the 4-step process. After your payment is accepted, you will receive an event confirmation and a receipt via email.
Registrations will not be accepted or processed without full payment. Only CREDIT CARD PAYMENT will be accepted online. Please contact CompassPoint for questions regarding vouchers or coupons.
To register by mail or fax, please complete a registration form in the back of the CompassPoint workshop catalog. REFUND POLICY
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop. Should we cancel, registrants will receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to substitute workshop presenters.
CANCELLATIONS and TRANSFERS
Workshop Cancellation Policy: Any registrant choosing to cancel a workshop registration will receive a refund minus a $15.00 handling charge. Notice of cancellation must be received by CompassPoint Nonprofit Services at least two full working days (48 hours) prior to the workshop. No refunds can be made after that date under any circumstances. If you want to transfer to a different class or to the same class on a different day, there is a $15 processing charge. Class transfer notifications must be received at least two full working days (48 hours) prior to the class.
To cancel or transfer your registration, please call 415.541.9000 or email workshops@compasspoint.org. Your request must be received at least 2 full working days prior to the start of the class.
Conference Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least one week prior to the conference date to receive a refund (minus a $25 processing fee). Fees are not refundable with cancellations less than one (1) week prior to the conference.
LATECOMER POLICY
Please be prompt! Workshop participants arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed into the class nor will a refund be issued.
If you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late arriving to a workshop, please call 415-541-9000 before the start of your class to let us know.”
If you are unable to attend a workshop and have not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, your payment will not be refunded.
MONITORS AND VOLUNTEERS WANTED
CompassPoint Nonprofit Services offers management workshops at a reduced rate to those willing to act as a monitor for a workshop. Also, for an exchange of your volunteer time, you can receive a full credit to a workshop of your choice. Accessibility Information
CompassPoint serves the entire community and welcomes people with disabilities. Our facilities are accessible and within easy reach of public transportation. If you need any access accommodation such as a sign language interpreter or materials in an alternative format, please contact us five working days ahead of your visit by calling either 415-541-9000 or emailing workshops@compasspoint.org.
So that people with environmental illness (or multiple chemical sensitivity) can minimize their exposure to harmful substances, we ask that you not wear perfumes or scented personal care products to workshops.
