Title: Nonprofit Cosmo Presents... Tips for Fundraisers. Struggling to compete for funding during these difficult times? Follow these tips and you'll be inundated with more funding offers than you can handle!
Tip 1: Attend events frequented by eligible funders. Shows group of people in circle, leader says, "Welcome to the "Philanthropists Who Can't Say No" support group.
Tip 2: Don't be afraid to make the first move.
Woman in group says, "Oopsy -- I was looking for the "Organizations Who Need $500,000 in Unrestricted Funds" group.
Tip 3: Show you're interested, but not too interested.
Other woman in group: "I'll fund you." Man in group: "Me, too!"
Nonprofit woman says, "I'll have to think about it... OK, I accept."
