CompassPoint's 2014 Annual Report

breaking through

What do you  need to break through?

This is a question that drives CompassPoint’s work with leaders, organizations, and movement networks.

It’s also the theme of our 2014 annual report, where we’re lifting up three strands of our work to share with you: how we work with social justice leaders and organizations to break through, how we support diverse practitioners to break through, and how we lead breakthroughs in leadership, management, and strategy through our research and contributions to the nonprofit field. The idea of breaking through is a theme that’s woven throughout our 40-year organizational history – a history of clients, partners, and funders collaborating to open up new ways of thinking and new paths for leaders and organizations to break down barriers in the way of social and racial justice.

In this latest annual report, we share inspiring stories of client breakthroughs, highlight some of our own recent breakthroughs, and present a colorful collage of the breakthroughs we’ve supported, partnered on, and are still striving toward. We do this all through the lens of our new Theory of Change which we integrate throughout the report and share with you below.

We close with a special invitation for you to join us for our 40th birthday celebration at the Oakland Museum of California on March 24, 2016. Like all of the breakthroughs we’ve contributed to and worked on together, it won’t be the same without you! Save the date.

Where will we  break through  next?
Stay tuned . . .
