Peer Networks

“I value learning new information that will help me in doing my job and enjoy discussing relevant topics with my colleagues. It really helps to hear how others are approaching challenges similar to mine. And the listserv is a great tool!” - Director of Finance, CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse)

Effective leaders create powerful teams and networks that harness the wisdom and support found in the staff and professionals working in the sector. With CompassPoint’s guidance, our peer learning programs leverage that expertise to the benefit of those who participate. Through an intensive and supportive learning process, we help leaders create powerful teams and networks for themselves and to contribute to a healthy pipeline of diverse leaders for the sector.

CompassPoint offers peer networks for nonprofit leaders and managers who work in key organizational roles, such as finance or human resources; we also integrate peer learning as an important component in our leadership and capacity-building initiatives. Our peer learning programs provide facilitated discussions, peer coaching, mentoring, support, and resources. As a result, nonprofit leaders gain the extra support they need to address the challenging issues they face on a regular basis.
