Public Speaking: Liberate Your Voice, Passion, and Story
When you think of a powerful public speaker, who comes to mind? Our culture often reinforces restrictive ideas about who should speak and who deserves to be heard—but those myths deserve to be challenged!
Everyone has a story to share. Learning to speak with an authentic voice to unleash your ideas, experiences, and passion can be a powerful force for change inside and outside your organization. In this workshop, we will create a liberated and supportive space to practice essential approaches to public speaking that lift up your unique voice and meet your personal goals.
This workshop is for people who:
- Are new to speaking to groups;
- Have fear and anxiety about public speaking;
- Are looking to build some practices to support speaking out confidently and authentically;
- Want to practice in real-time by giving and getting feedback in a supportive space.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn the 4 Ps framework for Public Speaking: Preparation, Presentation, Personality, and Pronunciation.
- Practice public speaking in your authentic voice;
- Give and get supportive developmental feedback;
- Explore fears and anxieties and develop practices to address them.
