Manage Your Time and Energy: A Path To Personal Sustainability
This is an online event. We will send login information two days before the event, so please make sure you enter your email correctly.
Registration for this event is offered on a sliding scale. If your personal or organizational budget allows you to, please consider paying the full fee so we can keep registration accessible for leaders and organizations who may not be in the same position. Greater access strengthens us all!
When we manage our time and energy solely through the lens of “productivity,” we forget to tend to our whole selves and practice the habits that sustain us for the long haul.
Showing up to nonprofit and social justice work requires us to move with purpose, get things done, and cultivate personal sustainability.
In this online workshop, you will:
-
Start to identify obstacles—internal, interpersonal, and institutional—that are hindering personal sustainability.
-
Understand a framework for energy management that includes the four core energy needs: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
-
Learn strategies and practices for better time management and personal organization.
This is a space for people who work at nonprofit organizations and / or in social justice movement spaces who want to explore what it means to manage their time and energy in the context of social change work.
This is a multi-day event. Please make sure you can attend all dates before registering! Before registering, make sure you are familiar with our cancellation policy.
Accessibility is very important to us! If you require specific accommodations (for example, receiving screen-reader friendly versions of learning materials ahead of time), please notify us at least a week in advance of the scheduled event by emailing workshops@compasspoint.org) so that we can do our best to meet your needs. Closed captioning and ASL interpretation is not provided unless requested.
