Cancellation, Refunds, and Transfers
TRANSFERS
We know things come up and that plans change! We will do our best to accommodate requests for transfers, but it's always best to make sure you can attend all dates of a workshop before completing any registration. We cannot guarantee last-minute transfer requests, and we cannot transfer your registration once the workshop has begun.
We can only accommodate one transfer per person, per training. Transfers include the following:
- Changing your registration to another date (of the same workshop, if available)
- Changing your registration to another workshop (of the same fee value)
- Transferring your registration to another person at your organization
If your registration was purchased using a discount code (including Bulk, Peer Network, and foundation-sponsored discounts) we are only able to transfer your registration to another person within your organization (or in your community) for the same workshop date. These registrations cannot be transferred to a different workshop date.
Please let us know as far in advance as possible of your upcoming training date if you need a transfer. While we can't transfer your registration from one year to the next, we are happy to transfer it to someone else at your organization.
CANCELLATIONS
To cancel your registration, please email workshops@compasspoint.org as far in advance as possible.
We can only issue a full refund if you cancel at least ten business days (two weeks) before the first date of your training.
We can provide a 50% refund if you cancel seven to nine business days before the first date of your training.
If your registration was purchased using a discount code, it can be cancelled for a full refund at least 7 business days before the workshop start date. After this date, we cannot offer (partial or full) refunds.
We do not provide refunds if you cancel within six business days or less of the date of your training.
We also don’t provide refunds if you’ve already transferred your registration once.
The reason we enforce this policy is to make sure that we have strong attendance (which benefits everyone’s learning experience!) and so that we can know well in advance if spots become available for waitlisted participants.
