As we wind down this very tumultuous and unexpected year, we are reminded that we are still here, and that our culture is our resistance! Our Ancestors traversed so much uncertainty and oppression…. and we’re still here! They persisted in their resistance. They kept their beliefs, names, language, music, and stories alive. It’s with them at our backs that we persist. We invite members of our Black community at CompassPoint to join us for our second Community of Care Gathering.
Join the Black CompassPoint staff to celebrate each other and you, our Black community. We’ll share art, music, libations, and culture. Inspired by the Nap Ministry, a project that sees rest as Black resistance, we’ll get into small groups to discuss what resistance and rest looks like for us as we close out this year!
*This space is for those who self-identify as Black or of the African Diaspora.
