Learn the proven methods of a coaching approach to management and leadership in this highly interactive, skill practice workshop. You will gain an introduction to coaching skills  that will help you engage others to take more initiative and empower  others to be responsible and accountable while starting to create all-round better organizational communication.  You'll leave Part 1 ready to start applying the skills right away at work and will set you up to build on that practice for the Coaching Skills Part 2 workshop.

  • Understand how coaching fits into your role

  • Identify coaching opportunities
  • Differentiate between when to instruct and when to facilitate

  • Use inquiry approach
  • Utilize the coaching framework
  • Clarify the focus of a conversation
  • Identify the goal of a conversation
  • Develop solutions collaboratively
  • Create accountability and follow up
